SuperBowl Jeep Ad Introduces An eBike
SuperBowl is when all the major brands come together and launch their newest ad campaigns. With a 30-second spot costing $5.6-million for this year’s event, you know that the ads are going to be well, super.
Jeep did not disappoint in their ad promoting the new Jeep Gladiator Pickup Truck. In the spot is actor Bill Murray reprising his role from the 1993 movie “Groundhog Day.” SuperBowl Sunday this year fell on Groundhog Day. In the ad, Murray is riding in the snow on an eBike with the groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, stuffed in the basket at the front.
The Jeep eBike, developed by Jeep in partnership with all-terrain electric bike manufacturers Quietkat, can cover up to 40 miles on a single charge. Jeep calls it the “most capable” off-road mountain bike out there.

Loaded with an efficient 750-watt electric motor, 4.8-inch fat tires, and fire-link suspension, the Jeep eBike has the tractive capability of a four-wheeler. But don’t scan the streets and Jeep dealerships quite yet. The SuperBowl ad was intended to draw attention to the product which won’t be available until June 2020.
That being said, Quietkat has chosen to tread into new territory having already launched a webpage online that provides a few more details on the Jeep eBike. It also offers an opportunity for interested users to sign up for future details.
For an ad that features the Jeep Gladiator, they sure did manage to stuff several cameos into that spot. Hopefully, Bill Murray, the Quietkat eBike and Punxsutawney Phil were worth the $5.6-million price of the 30-second SuperBowl commercial space.

FCK Ad – When KFC Chose Not To Kick The Bucket Over
I’ve already written about the problem UK KFC restaurants faced earlier this year when they ran out of chicken. I know, a fast food restaurant that built their brand around chicken is well, several pieces short of a bucket when the supply dries up. That…

Join The Swarm At McHive
There is no doubt that the average McDonald’s restaurant is filled with worker bees. However, in this miniature version of the iconic eatery you would be telling the truth. Of course, there would also be drone bees and a single queen bee.
